Hello, my name is Kate and I’ve been teaching English since 2014. I majored in English language and literature and got my TEFL certificate in 2017. I have taught individual learners of different ages, as well as groups, helping them master their written and oral English skills. Eight years' experience taught me to incorporate various teaching techniques to meet the individual learning needs of every student. My classes are engaging and I always do my best to broaden students’ knowledge and expand on the topic discussed in class. I’m good at motivating them to use English as much as they can, without relying on their mother tongue. Not only am I a teacher, but also a leaner, trying to learn Spanish and German. My learning experience gives me the opportunity to view language learning from a student’s perspective and be even more patient. In my spare time, I love traveling and getting to know new people and cultures, doing karate, and reading mystery books. I hope to see you soon in my class!
